You finally got to meet your Grandma Laura, Aunt Cindy and Cousin Caroline for the first time. They took a train all the way from California to meet you and picked up Cousin Caroline on the way. They could hardly put you down while they were here and just kept telling us what a mild-mannered baby you are. You truly are so patient!! I wonder where you get that from! It certainly isn't me : )
Somehow Aunt Cindy and Cousin Caroline managed to escape from being photographed on my camera, not quite sure how that happened but they certainly loved every second that they got to spend with you too!
Grandma Laura just loved talking to you and telling you that when your daddy was holding you it reminded her so much of Grandpa Roy holding Aunt Cindy when she was a baby!
Four generations all in the same place, truly amazing to see you all together...
I know just how much your daddy loved spending time with Grandma Laura when he was growing up and I am certain that you will love it just as much. I know Grandma Laura cherishes both you and daddy so much...
Grandma Laura kept telling you that you were her whole world and her reason for living. It just filled my heart with such happiness that I couldn't help but tear up every time I heard her say it to you...
You really liked playing in Grandma's lap. She told us that she used to do the same thing with all of her kids and daddy because she has such long legs and it's the most comfortable spot for you : )
Meema got to come from Joplin to spend time with Grandma Laura while she was here too, which meant that she thankfully also got to spend more time with you!
Look how happy you make your Meema...
You can only imagine the debates that ensued between Grandmas about who got to hold you first : ) They really did a great job at sharing with one another. We're proud of you Grandmas! : )
